Why Heblad chooses to use concrete

There is more than one way to create a bench. You've undoubtedly seen ones made out of wood or iron. At Heblad we've made the decision to use concrete to make our products. This provides a couple of advantages; firstly, concrete is an incredibly sturdy material. It won't be easily damaged by vandals. Secondly, due to the density of the material, a concrete bench is substantial in its mass, meaning it cannot easily be moved. Some of our customers have even strategically placed our products in front of their premises to prevent ram raids! Finally, we simply think concrete gives the products an aesthetically pleasing look. Our seatings are an enrichment for any public space!

Wide range of seatings

When you are looking to place a bench, we can provide you with a wide range of seating options. Our most basic design is the Bench Standard. This is a bench made from Natural Concrete, which allows for easy combination with one of out picnicsets or table tennis tables. Aside from our basic designs, we also have more elaborate options. We have designs that are equipped with a bamboo seat or backrest, oval shaped benches, and benches coated with a durable lacquer in anthracite. Each of these items is a durable and tough product, made to be low-maintanance. Our concrete benches have been purchased and placed all throughout Europe!
